Thursday 4th June, 2015 I woke at five-forty-five, but managed to get back to sleep until my seven-am alarm. I tidied the kitchen a little and woke G, and we made plans for kayaking over a light breakfast. It wasn’t long before we’d donned our wetsuits, put the kayak on the car’s roof and were heading to the nearby Kettlewell car park.

Wednesday 3rd June, 2015 Gave ourselves what felt like a lie-in but in reality was only until about eight am.  We were using the cottage’s hot tub later in the day and had to meet with the owner to have it all explained.

Tuesday 2nd June, 2015 In true summer onehundred fashion I awoke at a ridiculously early time in the morning – four forty-five am. Once it became clear I wouldn’t be getting back to sleep any time soon I hauled myself out of bed to the kitchen where I set about planning for the day ahead. The weather was remarkably good, if a little blustery, and I thought we could fit in a quick walk before the rain was due to sweep in at around eleven.

Monday 1st June, 2015 I guess I’ve managed to set myself up quite well for this summer onehundred, in that I’ve made the first five days of the project relatively easy for myself. G and I are spending the week in the Lake District, so photographs and writing material won’t be too hard to come by – the tricky thing will be finding the time to write.
