Sunday 2nd August, 2015 G and I left a little late, though admittedly that’s pretty much the norm for us now. We were headed to Essex for G’s grandmother’s birthday gathering and felt confident we’d arrive on time, but our normally trusty SatNav took us a ridiculously long route down endless country roads which wound through county after county (or so it seemed). It was extremely beautiful, but not ideal when we were trying to be on time for once.

Friday 31st July, 2015 Arrived home a little after midnight and fell into bed, my body finally giving into the exhaustion which has been threatening me all week. I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle the events of the daytime.

Thursday 30th July, 2015 Woke exhausted, as to be expected, but that didn’t really matter today. What did matter was the deep sadness I now felt in the pit of my stomach, clouding the front of my head. The other emotions from last night had worn away, and now I was just sad.
