updates (and apologies)

A different post from usual, but bear with me. I’ve got a few things I need to clear up regarding what’s going on with my blog, so here are the answers to all your questions (…if you had any in the first place).

Are you still doing your summer onehundred?

Yes! It’s still going strong, I promise. As you’re sure to find out when I finally get around to putting it all up, this summer has been unbelievably busy. Along with what’s felt like a hundred and one musical commitments, short holidays and volunteering work, I’ve also been steadily preparing for my move to university at the end of September. I’m still writing and taking pictures for my summer project, which officially ends this coming Monday, and I promise that it will all eventually be caught up on and posted – hopefully before I leave for York!

What happened to Team v?

There are a number of Team v posts left to write, and ultimately I’ve put off doing them because it makes me sad. However, once I’ve got to day sixty-one in my summer onehundred, which is Team v Graduation day, I’ll then properly update everything around the programme.

Are there any disposables posts coming up?

I’ve been neglecting my disposables series this year but I can promise that there are three posts coming up documenting the year up until now, and I’m really looking forward to posting them.

What will happen with your blog once your summer onehundred finishes?

This is a good question and I’m still finalising it all myself. First of all I will be writing a series for Spice UK Online, a news/entertainment/lifestyle website run by and for young people, documenting my first year at university which I am super excited for. I’m hoping to post all of those articles here too. From there I hope to write a weekly more personal update in a summer onehundred ‘diary’ style, as well as continuing to post opinion pieces as and when I create them. Ultimately I plan to post often, but with less of a fixed schedule, bar the two weekly posts. So I’m definitely not planning on going anywhere!

Hopefully that’s cleared a few things up – I’m sorry I’ve been so sporadic! Keep an eye out for new posts; I’ve finally got a little more time on my hands to sort everything out. Thanks for sticking with me!

Thanks for the update, Lucy. Good luck with all your projects, not least your move to York soon, and your first year of university. I will be around, as and when you get the chance to post. I am finally away myself tomorrow, for a week in Kent. It’s been a long time coming, but we are eventually getting our holiday.
    Best wishes, Pete.
